Hello, fellow entrepreneurs. How are you this evening? I’m hopping on super late tonight. I’m getting ready to go to a big leadership meeting in Nashville tomorrow starting Friday through Sunday. I’m super, super excited about that. My husband, Danny and I are doing it together.
It’s a super exciting time. I’m trying to last minute pack and do some laundry and all that stuff. I wanted to jump on really quick and talk to you about possibilities. Possibilities as an entrepreneur. There are a lot of them. With possibilities comes failure, correct? Failure comes but not just with entrepreneurship.
It’s just in life. We fail at things. Being an entrepreneur, we tend to hit a little failure a little bit more often. I’m going to ask a question of you. What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail in life, decisions, in your business? You would probably just try everything knowing you couldn’t fail.
Guys, throughout life, failure is actually a blessing because we are not meant to have every single thing that we try, okay? Not every single thing. There’s a reason for everything to happen. Failures equal blessings. Look back at Einstein. Einstein failed numerous times throughout his life on many different things. I mean, Danny always refers to Einstein as somebody that just kept going and kept going and kept going, trying to make things work.
What happens when we – we stop in life especially as entrepreneurs right before we get to the door. If you’ve ever known anyone that was successful in any business, a lot of the times it gets incredibly difficult right before you’re about ready to bust through that door. Who else agrees with that? I mean, it gets really difficult and that’s when a lot of the times people stop. We’ll never know what’s going to happen. There’s always that what if. What if I had not have stopped? The possibilities are there.
You just have to keep going and not stop before that door. You have to bust through that door quickly. Possibilities are always surrounded with challenges and challenges I believe, and I know Danny would believe this, challenges make us better. Challenges and failures teach us things on what to do, what not to do and what to do better. I’d like to reference back to John Maxwell. Those of you that may know him.
If you’re an entrepreneur, you know who John Maxwell is. He referenced to the Tootsie Pop thing. It’s really hard on the outside but once you get to that middle, it’s really soft. It’s how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. Well, it just depends. What are you going to do with it? Possibilities and failures, not a bad thing, guys. It’s okay to fail. You just got to learn from those and keep moving forward.
Hope this helps you this evening. Drop some comments. Let me know what you think. Danny and I will see you next time around. Hopefully, from Nashville to share some awesome business information with you. Bye guys. Have a good evening.
