Happy Hump Day Hustle. Man, coming at you a little late today. Let me push start. I’ve got some important stuff to share. Danny, again, with DannyandLeta.com. I hope everybody is flying high this week. Let me dive in really fast. I think I’ve got something good for you. I’m touching on what we spoke about last week.
Last week, I was harping on spamming and all that jazz. For your networkers that don’t know what that is, that’s where we blast our company and products all over our people and think they’re going to come running and wanting to buy it all. You know, fill the garage with stuff, and open the door, and then bam; everybody’s going to come and want to buy the stuff.
Unfortunately, that’s just not the case. I tapped into some knowledge that we’ve been learning that goes completely against that, and I hope you guys will hear this. If you’re not on the live, I hope on the replay, and please say hi either way. If you have any questions, please holler back.
This is important stuff. I’m not going to dig too deep. I want you to message me if you’ve got any specific questions. There’s a right and a wrong way to talk to people, to prospect, and to get leads and sales for our network marketing business. Hence, the name. We’re marketers. We’re network marketers.
It doesn’t even matter what product or service we’re pushing. What matters is how we come across to the people that have a desire to entertain what we have because let’s face it. Not everybody out there with a pulse wants what we have. I think it’s foolish for us to assume that we just want to blast our friends and family and think that they’re going to love what we have. Unfortunately, that’s just not the case.
I’ve got some notes here. I think they’re very valuable, and it just touches the surface about the important way of how we’re supposed to be growing our network marketing business. We’ve split our deal up into two sides. Leta is the genius with the products, and I’m the one that’s the prospector and the marketer.
I’m working on what it takes to get people to attract ourselves to the people out there that are interested in what we’re doing. I’m getting better at putting ourselves in front of people that want and are interested in this type of business for our products. If it’s the business, then I’ll continue to engage with them. If it’s product-based folks, Leta will take that and do her magic because she’s the genius with the products.
You’ll also notice that on my videos, and actually on this site, you will never know what we do or what our business is because the point of DannyandLeta.com is to transfer the knowledge that we learn on to those of you who are interested in learning how to get better, and like how we share how to get better, and hang out with us, and we all grow together. It’s a win/win.
Let me get into these notes quickly. I think you’ll find them valuable. One of the biggest things is, you want to learn the skills that it takes. To get into this business, you can’t just hope. You’ve got to seek knowledge. Again, that’s why we’re here because we’re filling needs. We talk to people all the time that don’t have a clue, and I say that with love, and we love to pour into them stuff that we’re learning. We learn it, and then we teach it.
One of the biggest things is, you want to take the initiative with your lead generation. You don’t want to count on your downline to grow your business for you. You don’t want to just kickback. Later on, yeah, if we become magna-wagnas in a little while, and we’ve worked hard, and then we reap the rewards of our residuals. That’s the whole point of this business is to build the business, and then enjoy the residual part of it.
Take control of your lead generation. Learn what it takes. Learn how to get better. That’s what we’re doing, and brand yourself. Like I touched on, Leta and I are branding ourselves. Some people are going to like us; some people are not going to like us. But that’s okay. We’re not going to appeal to everybody. We’re only going to appeal to those who want what we’ve got, who know, like, and trust us, and that feel like they’re gaining from our knowledge.
It’s all about building relationships. That’s our intent. We don’t care if you buy anything from us. But, at the end of the day, we feel that what we have is very valuable, and we know it can help those of you who are trying to build your network marketing business.
So, take control of your lead generation. Learn the skills to pay the bills. I’ve got this silly thing: if you want to be able to pay the big bills, you’ve got to learn the big skills. Stay consistent. I made a commitment. I don’t know if you know, every Wednesday, I do the Hump Day Hustle. As corny and goofy as it might be, I had to commit to myself at least every Wednesday, I’m going to come on. It’s hard for Leta to come on because she’s still working. She’s in the dental profession.
I try to come on with as much value as I can, and I know I’ll get better. Look, you can tell these are super high-quality videos. Later on, if we decide to get technical and do all that, we’ll get a little wackier with it. But for now, it’s about getting you the raw value that’s on my mind at the time and try to convey that over.
Stay consistent. I know a lot of you guys are home moms – oh, my gosh. Right now, man, with all this that’s going on, so many mothers are choosing to do homeschooling. Oh, my gosh! I can only imagine trying to build a home business and school your kids at the same time. So, we’re going to try to get some more learning done on that where we can add value and help you guys try to do better and combining those two. Kudos to you guys!!
Try to stay consistent. Like I said a second ago. Keep learning the skills that make your prospecting easier. Just try to get better. Always be learning and be relatable. If you can’t tell this old hick, ADD guy. Look. I just come on, and I try to share what we know and what we’ve got. Again, some of you aren’t going to like how I come across, and some of you might. It is what it is.
I even take it a step further. Those of you that watched this and don’t have a clue why I play that section of Twisted Sister’s song, “We’re Not Going to Take It.” That’s my mantra. A while back, I shared a little story. The way I’m wired, I’ve got ADD tendencies or whatever. Sometimes, you’ll see where I might seem like I’m chasing a squirrel, but in reality, I really know what I’ve got going on up here. It’s hard for some people to keep up.
The point is, a lot of you guys are wired similar to that, that are trying to grow your business. What my goal is, I chose to focus on that and try to convey how we are overcoming that. Leta – she’s got it all. With me, just share how I’m overcoming that. I haven’t, by a long shot, but I’ve learned some tools and tricks and all that that really help.
Those of you that are whacked out in the head like I am, I want to help you get past all that and quick taking the crap, and excel in the business that you’re trying to excel in because it’s been a struggle for me. I digress.
The point is, back to – see, there’s an example. Back to lead generation. Let me run through these one more time:
- Take the initiative. Always be prospecting.
- Set a goal. Talk to x-amount of people every week. I don’t care what your business is.
- Brand yourself because whatever company you’re with if it goes under, and all you’ve been doing is identifying with that company and blasting your company stuff, what do you have?
You’ll see here where over time, the stuff that we teach you guys, it doesn’t have anything to do with our company, although we think it’s awesome. We love the opportunity, but the point is, if something ever happens to them, guess what? It doesn’t matter what company we’re with, we’ll pick back up, and we’ll be jamming because we learn and then teach the tricks and the skills that it takes to excel in the business, and we’re excited about that.
We haven’t been in it long, but we’ve been long enough. We’re filling some good momentum, and we’ve learned some great stuff, and we’re still heading to our goals.
- Stay consistent. Please stay consistent. We all have our stuff going on, but please, please stay consistent. It’s vital to keep in touch with your peers. It’s vital.
- Learn the skills. If you’ve got questions, please reach out to me, and we’ll do our best to get you the answers to your questions.
- Be relatable. Don’t pretend to be a big shot. No judgment here, but before, we thought we had to come on and for shooting videos or whatever that we needed to appear to be a certain level or whatever, and we got over that pretty quickly. It doesn’t matter.
We look back at how we look at people, and we levitate toward the folks that are genuine and vulnerable at times and screw up, and all that. Then, we know we can trust who we’re learning from because they’re not trying to be something that they’re not, and we grow to know, like, and trust those that we follow.
That’s what we’re trying to get to, guys. We’re steadily trying to build our crowd and be of value to you guys. Do me a favor. I’ve got something very valuable to give away. Message me and say, “I want the prize.” It has to do with marketing. It will open your eyes brighter than they’ve ever opened before. Request that, and let’s have a chat. Let me get that over to you.
I’ve taken enough of your time. Happy Hump Day Hustle again. Finish cranking the rest of this week. Hang on. I see somebody’s got something going on over here. Is that you, Preston? [Reading] Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yeah, man. Hey, thanks for tuning in, buddy. Those are golden words, man. I always love hearing from you.I’m going to try to catch you on the round-about and check in with you and see how you’re doing.
Guys, take care. God bless, and let me give you a little bit more here [theme song]. Don’t take it anymore, guys. Get out there and crush it and have a great rest of your week. Take care now. Bye. Bye.
