Happy Hump Day Hustle, everybody, coming to you live from the great city of Lake Charles, Louisiana. For those of you that do not know, I’m over here helping put together a church that got tore up pretty bad during Hurricane Laura. This is Danny with Danny and Leta. I hope all is well. I hope all of you are doing great.
I want to touch a little bit today on – I had a conversation recently and it had to do with prospecting and getting people to listen to what we’re selling, what we got. I give the spiel, but I can’t sign anybody up. Of course, I referenced a great – the question was how do I converse with people without seeming like I’ve got an agenda? In my opinion, it’s a business. We’re trying to build a business.
Yeah, we’ve got an agenda. At the same time the biggest strategy is – and I reference this from Zig Ziglar. Any of you all that don’t know him, please check him out. I’m paraphrasing here. If we help enough people get what they want, we will ultimately end up getting what we want. I just tried to tell him just keep hitting it. Just keep going in there with an open heart.
If you love what you got and you stand by it 100% and you know that the people you’re talking to have a need – you’ve got the FDA stuff you’ve got to fight with a lot. We’ve got to tiptoe around all that. If you’ve got a need, if somebody has a need and we have a remedy, then by all means let’s get in there and help people. He’s a hustler. He’s a hard worker, but it just sounded like this person was trying to get the wrong people that didn’t want what he had to offer.
I kept trying to tell him if you learn how to attract the right people that are already looking for you and what you have to offer, things get a whole lot easier. It ended well. I’ll check back with him in a few days, a week or something to see how things are going.
That also reminds me of this. We’ve got this killer product that we’re going to be launching soon that is going to blow your mind. It’s going to blow your mind. We’re so excited about it. We can’t get it finished fast enough. The launch date will be coming up soon, and we’ll let you guys know that are interested that want to learn different ways of prospecting and recruiting and attracting the type of people that you want in your business.
We don’t want to just sign up anybody and everybody. We don’t want anybody and everybody to join our business. Not everybody is suitable. Just because they have a pulse and are somewhat interested, we don’t necessarily just want to throw them in. If you’ve got something to say about that, put something in the comments. Say hello. Tell me where you’re from, something like that.
Let’s engage a little bit. If you have some questions, throw them at us. Lives are going to be a little weird for a few months while I’m here. I think it will be fun. I think it will add a neat little dynamic to what Leta and I are trying to build for you guys.
As we learn to be better at what we’re doing, we’re going to be better at offering to you different strategies and tactics and insight on how to have fun in this network marketing game. That’s about it. It’s short and sweet today. The bottom line is let’s not go out into the world and just try to do things the old-fashioned way, which is try to hit everybody with a pulse. Not everybody with a pulse digs what we have to offer.
There is a super-duper, rock and roll, radical, get down, killer way of putting ourselves and what we’ve got, more so ourselves – Ray Higdon says, “Push the fertilizer, not the grass,” or something like that. I’m sorry I butchered that up. The point is push the effect of what it is we have, not necessarily push the product or service that we have. People are sold all the time. Let’s offer value. Let’s nail down the value of the products and services that we have and what it does for us, where it benefits us.
We put that out there and people automatically attract to that. What in the world is it? What have you been using? Please share. That’s all I got for today. Again, that’s my song. We’re not going to take it.
Let’s not take the difficulty is sharing whatever wonderful product and service we have with our peers. Let’s learn the right ways of doing things. Let’s have fun building our business and not be stressed out all the time because we don’t know the right skills that we need to pay the bills that we’re seeking to have. We don’t want bills, but the point is let’s learn the right skills so we can pay the bills. That’s all I got.
You all be good. Next Wednesday I think I’ll take you guys on a little video tour. I might have mentioned that before, but we’re not quite ready for that today of what we’re doing here and share a little bit about the life and times of Danny and Leta over here in post Hurricane Laura world. Glad to be doing it though. It’s for a great cause.
We’re serving a lot of people over here putting this church back together again for them. That’s it. Take care now. God bless. Reach out and love somebody. We’ll see you again next week. Take care. Bye now.
