Hello again, guys. What’s today? Thursday, August 1st. Hope everybody is well. Real quick, I wanted to jump on for a little drive time thinking.
Something I want to put out there today is I’m just driving back to the house. Regarding decisions, I noticed a guy on the corner a few minutes ago holding up a sign. We all know him. I’m not here to judge that; that’s not why I’m bringing it up.
What I’m curious about is this. You’ve got these fellows. You’ve got two ends of the spectrum. You’ve got these guys. There are various levels and reasons, but let’s just call it the legitimate ones, okay. The legitimate ones that really need help and are holding up the sign and found themselves in a situation, their fault or not.
Let me stick to that. Then you’ve got the folks that have become extremely successful through various decisions. You’ve got unsuccessful. They got there through one or more decisions made. Then you’ve got those that have made it to the other end of the spectrum successfully through one or more decisions made. What I’m getting at is, it could be – that status on either end of the spectrum could possibly be the result of one simple decision made, one decision. I’m going to change hands here, just one.
That guy holding up the sign, who knows what kind of decision he made back in the day or recently that has created the issues that he has in his world, his or her world. I’ve got to get gas. That concerns me because if – and it excites me actually. If we can put out there the great knowledge that we have, you and I, and as we learn, as we improve our surroundings, and our peers should improve. That’s the way I feel about it. Maybe we’ll do an experiment. Maybe we’ll pull a guy or a gal off the streets, that it’s legitimate, and pour into them a little bit and see if we can get them to make a certain decision in the future that could help them get from where they’re at to where they’re going.
Anyway, I just wanted to throw that at you and challenge you all with that thought on today’s drive time thinking. Yeah, just one decision. Let me change hands again. Just one decision is all it could take. Sorry for the distraction. One decision, what’s that one decision going to be? To me, it’s keeping an open mind, watching out who we listen to, who we hang out with, and think about consequences to that decision and/or rewards.
That’s all I got. Thanks you all for lending your ear. Have a great Thursday, bye now. Reach out and love someone. Take it easy.
