Hello, fellow entrepreneurs. How are you? This is my first Facebook Live in Danny and Leta and I’m excited to be here. I know you’ve seen Danny post many videos. Actually, his words of wisdom, on the road thoughts and everything, and they’re totally awesome and great. I love hearing from him when he’s just on the road in deep thought. I’m here today to share with you just one thing.
Just in case you guys don’t know who I am, I’m Leta Engram. Here I am. My partner in crime is Danny. Like I said, you’ve seen him on here a few times before. I wanted to share with you one word that can be connected with entrepreneurship and that is uphill. Does anyone ever think that entrepreneurship or being an entrepreneur is uphill? It is. It’s an uphill battle, right? It really is. It’s not easy. It can be challenging.
Some people could have it easier than others but not all the time. I always like to say everything worthwhile is uphill, correct? It is and it relates to my favorite author. Not author, poet, I should say, Robert Frost, who wrote the poem, The Road Not Taken. Maybe some of you are familiar with it. Some of you may not be. I’ll share the poem later. That has been my thing to go to with life.
I have never been the same path taker. I’ve always gone – I dance to the beat of a different drummer type of thing. That is what I’ve always done. Meeting Danny many years ago just helped it all come together. We just do things differently and that is totally fine. Being an entrepreneur, it’s an uphill battle all the time. It doesn’t come easy but it can be easier if you have intention. You are intentional with what you want to do and what you want to achieve.
Nobody climbed a mountain by accident. They were intentional about it. Nobody became debt-free because it just happened. They were intentional about it. They decided they were going to cut back and do different things. It’s the same thing with entrepreneurship. If you want to progress and lift yourself with whatever company you’re in, you have to be intentional and it’s so incredibly important.
The only thing that I see a lot with people that are entrepreneurs is they have uphill hopes and downhill habits. How is it ever going – if you have uphill hopes and downhill habits, how is that ever going to make you successful in whatever business you are doing. It just won’t. I encourage you today to think about being uphill, going uphill with your entrepreneurship and being intentional.
Those two things, being intentional in – it doesn’t even have to be business. It could be with your finances, with your working out, with your eating habits, whatever it may be, you have to intentional about it. Having a better relationship with anyone, doesn’t matter, people.
Today, uphill entrepreneurship but you have to be intentional. All right, guys. That’s all I have for you today. I look forward to being on here again. Drop some comments below on what you think about this and I’ll see you next time around. Bye.
